Hi, I’m Dawn Roe and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’ve been taking portraits professionally since 2009, right after I graduated with my Master of Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans (where I also earned my bachelor’s degree). Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I still love it just as much today.
I specialize in studio portraiture, but I also offer outdoor family sessions and commercial photography for both local businesses and national brands. Whether I’m photographing a newborn, a growing family, or a team of professionals, my goal is always the same: to create beautiful, meaningful images that truly reflect the people in them.
Keeping your baby safe and comfortable is a top priority during newborn sessions. I’ve completed several baby safety courses and hold a newborn safety certification through APNPI, so you can feel confident knowing your little one is in good hands.

I have been taking portraits for over ten years. I received my Master
of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Orleans, as well as my bachelor's degree.
After grad school, I have continued
to learn and grow through workshops and online courses. I have trained under some of the greatest photographer's around the world to provide beautiful custom images of your babies.
Keeping your
baby safe and comfortable is my top priority. I have taken several baby safety classes, as well as completed my newborn safety certification through APNPI.
My studio is located in Metairie near Trader Joe's.
I have families travel from across Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas,
Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, and as far as New York for their portraits.
